The Investment Casting Process

We utilize state-of-the-art lost wax casting technology to produce superior metal components:

1. Pattern Creation: Wax patterns are injection molded into metal dies, with cores creating internal features. Multiple patterns are assembled into a tree-like gating system (sprue, runners, and risers) to form complete casting clusters.
2. Mold Formation: The pattern tree undergoes multiple ceramic coating applications, building a robust shell. After drying, the wax is melted out in a furnace, leaving a precise ceramic mold ready for metal pouring.
3. Metal Pouring: Preheated molds (approximately 1000°C/1832°F) receive molten metal through gravity pouring, with optional vacuum or pressure assistance for complex geometries.
4. Controlled Cooling: Components solidify under carefully monitored conditions to ensure optimal metallurgical properties and dimensional stability.
5. Casting Extraction: After cooling, we remove castings using advanced techniques including water jets and cryogenic separation methods.
6. Precision Finishing: Each component undergoes meticulous finishing including gate removal, surface refinement, and optional heat treatment to meet exact specifications.
